World-Class Body Painter hits Vegas

Filippo Ioco has a mission and that is to conquer Las Vegas. He is a world-class artist who was influenced by Michelangelo and Marc Rothko. He will be appearing at the special World Premier of Zumanity at he top of New York New York on September 20th. According to Filippo, there needs to be more art in the world. "So often people have taken art for granted," he says. "Yet there are certain people who appreciate the serenity and subtlety of art through colors." This is one of the reasons he also went from painting and sculpture to the art of body painting. "Art to me is the expression of freedom of the soul, mind and imagination." "Art," he continues "can send a message for the future." During the last fifteen years Filippo has fallen in love with expressing his moods through painting bodies. It’s simply called "Body Art" or "Body Decoration".

According to Filippo body decoration creates a message of power and imagination. The art of body painting is not new. It originated through the African and Native American Indian tribes. When the Native Americans went to war they would decorate their bodies with different clay and berries of color. Thus was the creation of decorative body art. Body art was very popular in the sixties and seventies, yet today it is used for fashion, advertising, music videos, produce launches and special promotions. Filippo Ioco is at the head of that movement. For more information regarding the art of body painting, log on to www.iocoart.com
